Welcome to my sports blog. My name is Johnny. I live in this great country called Canada. I love all kinds of sports, especially hockey, football, and boxing. My favorite recreational sport is fishing. My favorite teams are the Washington Capitals (yup, even though I'm Canadian) and the Kansas City Chiefs. I know, I know.... I'm still waiting for a championship. But I'm sure I'll get one before I die. So now enough about me, it's time for sports talk.

Even the Rain Couldn't Stop us.
After losing our home opener to the Orleans Bengals 9-8, we entered the hostile environment of the East Ottawa Generals and totally kicked butt with a convincing 25-6 victory. Torencial downpours couldn't keep us off the scoreboard. Our offence was on fire and the "D" was solid. We're off to visit the North Gloucester Giants next week. Our camping trip ending up being the trip from HELL. The rain came down soooo hard on Saturday (the tail end of Hurricane Ernesto) that we had to bail out in the middle of the night and head back home to sleep. We went back the next morning and everything was completely soaked. Although, we did have a great time for the time we were there. We really got a great bunch of friends. We played games, fished, boated, ate, and drank, drank, DRANK.
